Oscar Wilde Quotes.

Oscar Wilde was persecuted and imprisoned, with hard labour, for his sexual preference. Thank heavens that times have changed.
I can resist everything except temptation.
Me neither.
We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.
And s0ome of us are looking at the dog turds.
Always forgive your enemies – nothing annoys them so much.
Some people are really annoying!
Experience is simply the name we give our mistakes.
I’ve got heaps of experience!
The truth is rarely pure and never simple.
It hurts.
What is a cynic? A man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing.
Except when it comes to newspapers.
To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.
Too true. We have a sequence of moments. Best use them wisely.
There is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about.
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken
Even if it is detrimental to everything.
To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance.
You have to like yourself before you like others.

  1. Absolutely love these quotes!! My favorite is definitely “To live is the rarest thing in the world…” because it’s so true most people just live and go through the same thing every day until they die never truly living life.

    • Going through the motions is not living is it? Grab the moment. Wrench every bit of life out of it. Find the crazy ones; the ones full of madness, electricity and life, who burn and seek excitement, magic, wonder and awe. Those are the ones who truly live. They don’t have careers or follow the norm. They burn. They talk madly. They think, feel and probe the darkness, reject the stories and make their own. They care about each moment and value it. Seek the wild ones!

I'd like to hear from you...
